Can anyone give me some clues on the market / scope for soft skills training in Singapore both for corporate and for schools / academic institutons? Is there a market? Where can I get some details on it if I intend to start such a business there? Typical corporate training rates etc? Anything at all that can help me evaluate if there is scope for me to set up a soft skills training firm there. I already run a firm in India. Thanks.

This link is for starting a business in Singapore.
I guess it is going to be a little hard with the saturated market in Singapore and the bottoming economy for any foriegners setting corporate training. Management, supervisory skills, business & various IT training, used to be good during up times.
I can see a demand for the two IR’s (integrated resorts) coming up and a lot of training centres/schools having trainings on these related topics.
I can say that the pie has shrunk too with many companies in shut-down mode deffering or een cancelling training programmes altogether.
No harm, you can give a shot, observe and try again when thing improve.
Good luck.
